Job Summary:

The Production Assembler will contribute to our growing manufacturing facility. The ideal candidate would have a base knowledge in operating hand tools, ability to read assembly drawings and models, possess an eagerness to learn new skills, and have the willingness to adapt to changes as needed. Problem solving is a plus, to help find solutions to complex issues and drive forward the continuous improvement culture; all while ensuring quality standards are maintained in the production process.

Responsibilities:

Qualifications:

• Willingness and ability to learn how to operate fabrication machinery and tools.
• Pick, stage, and prep parts for assembly.
• Assemble machine components such as rolls, bearings, electric motors, and sheet metal parts into fully working roller mills using a variety of hand and electric tools.
• Conduct factory testing and complete quality assurance checklist using defined testing procedures.
• Prepare equipment for shipping by properly packaging, labeling and staging in the shipping area.
• Ability to learn company safety protocols and adherence to industry regulations.
• Willingness to travel, if needed, to aid the team in service work and customer support.

Education and Experience:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Vocational training or certification in fabrication is a plus.
• Mechanically inclined with an understanding of production fabrication.
• Effective communication and teamwork skills.
• Flexibility to adapt to changing production schedules and priorities.
• Problem solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality control.
